I'm a Texan turned New Yorker turned Montanan and I love to make things, read, cook, and observe.
My favorite crafts are crocheting and sewing, but I dabble in nearly all of them. I wear many hats: I'm a crochet and craft designer, writer and editor as well as a crochet/knitting teacher and LYS employee.
My first book, Crochet Adorned: Reinvent Your Wardrobe with Crocheted Accents, Embellishments, and Trims was just published by Potter Craft. I have contributed crochet and craft projects to several books, including Stitch and Bitch Crochet, Hooked:A Crocheter's Stash of Wit and Wisdom, The Crafter Culture Handbook, Bead Simple, Vogue Knitting on the Go: Grannies, Button it Up, and Knitting for Good.
My work has also been featured in many magazines including Crochet Today, Interweave Crochet, Knit 1, BUST, Craft:, Make, Sew Simple, CraftStylish and Sew Stylish. My patterns have also been featured on the TV show Knit and Crochet Today. Previously, I was the founding Craft and Decorating Editor of Adorn magazine.
You can also check out my ravelry page right here and my very occasionally stocked etsy shop.
