I'm married for 35 years to the same man. I have two children of my own and two older step-sons. Altogether there is about 10 grandchildren. I say about because we have no communication at this time, with one of my step-sons, so therefore we aren't sure how many children he does have.

I have been crocheting since I was a young girl, not all the time, but off and on throughtout my life. I learned to knit also, but I think I prefer crocheting because I find it easier to use one needle instead of two. I wish that I was more skilled at my crocheting than I am, I taught my husband how to crochet and he is better at it than I am. His stitches are constantly consistent and he even created his own stitch. He thought that he had been double crocheting, when all the while, he had been using his own made up stitch.....LOL.....I told him, "hey, that's cool, I think it looks great and besides there's nothing wrong with that. It's not written anywhere that you can't make up your own stitches". We both got a good chuckle out of that one.

I do some embroidery work, but I find myself going back to crocheting most of the time. I do cross stitch also.
