About

Sublime Stitching is the small, indie company that launched the mission to introduce fresh, alternative designs and resources for the once-dying hobby of hand embroidery. With cheeky patterns and now-I-understand-it instructions, Sublime Stitching has helped fuel the DIY alt-craft revolution, while also giving veteran needleworkers something new to stitch about.

Due to an overabundance of bunnies and dull, outdated instructions, Sublime Stitching stepped in with updated embroidery patterns and all-in-one embroidery starter kits. Jenny Hart's new take on embroidery was met with worldwide attention and hordes of loyal crafters, thankful for something to stitch other than geese in bonnets. (You're welcome!)

We've grown to manufacture custom tools and textiles and extend educational outreach to thousands of stitchers worldwide. Jenny travels extensively doing workshops and promoting her titles with Chronicle Books. At home base here in Austin, we endeavor to maintain fair trade relationships and collaborations with independent crafters, artists and community-based businesses. So you can feel good about stitching!
