The Thames Path. Its were I go to exercise and clear my mind. The part of around Hampton Court is my favourite - especially in the spring. Its a lovely mix of nature, history and peace.
I am currently training for a 100km walk from London to Brighton. My best motivator are my team mates. The first training walk I did with them was quite difficult. They had been training for a couple weeks more than me and they were in better shape. If it wasn't for their positive words and encouragement, I doubt I would have made it through that first walk and probably would have quit after that. I am now heading into week 3 of my training and thanks for them, I'm not looking back!
My New Year’s Resolution is to learn how to deal with stress better. I am a very high strung person and it’s really affecting my life and health. Crafting has helped a bit but I need to learn how to quickly distress in ‘at the moment’ situations. I also need to learn how to let get go after stressful situations. (Depending on the situation, it can affect me for days to weeks afterwards.)
I love butteries! And I think a butterfly would look really pretty as a cupcake topper and as a necklace. I think the most difficult thing would be to decide which pattern and colour combination to use.
If had to choose though, I would choose the pattern similar to the one in that attached picture (taken last year at the Natural History Museum in London) but use purple as a base and yellow as the detail.
Cookie Dough is my ultimate comfort food. After a long frustrating day, there is nothing better than curling up with some freshly made cookie dough and a good movie.
I normally buy a bunch of bananas in the begining of the week. By the time the weekend rolls around, the bananas which that aren't eaten are made into banana bread!
I love making simple roast potatoes. I wrap up cut up potatoes and seasoning into aluminium foil. I then throw into the foil into the fire and let it cook for awhile. So simple yet so yummy!

Its a toss up between the Praying Mantis and the Periodical Cicada. (In 2004 we had a amazing outbreak of them! They are so interesting!)
