No Hayley, i do not have this problem.
hi Penny. i glued everything with white glue and before painting it i covered everything again with glue. It stands 4 glasses of water, as long as you are gentle with it! We had no problem so far. I like the idea of the bedside table!
septisme, first i covered the heel with two coats of paint and then i applied two coats of glitter. it was a glitter glue pen. i applied some quantity and then spread it around using a small brush. i also used two coats of glitter glue before the first one dried out.i hope that covers your question. if i can help in any other way please let me know!
thank you Olivia!
thanks for your nice comments. a couple of friends that came over and saw could not understand what it was made from, shanna. as one of them said, the lamp reminded her of feathers in the back of a bird. this is how i got the idea. no one will now that it is only spoons, shanna!
thanks for your nice comments. shanna, a couple of friends that came over and saw it couldn't understand what it's made off. as one of them said the bunch of spoons looked a little bit like feathers, http://neutradesign.wordpress.com/2010/03/23/amazing-feather-kate-mccgwire/, kind like that but in white! that's how i got to add the feathers on top. (i am not a very good photographer) http://bisozozo.blogspot.com/2012/04/plastic-spoon-pendant-light.html
