Have you always been creative and what’s the earliest work you can remember creating?
Copying comic art
What's your studio like and how do you keep organised?
It's a large studio that I share with 24 other creatives. It's open plan and like an art school. Bit chilly in winter, bit too hot in summer. Lunch everyday on our big communal table. A place to create, play, socialise.
Where do you look for inspiration?
I'm inspired by city life, especially London. Also I read a lot and that sparks ideas.
Whats in your pencil case / camera bag?
Graphite pencils, coloured pens/pencils, sketchbook or notebook.
Any tips for someone suffering from creative block?
Just start playing with materials, especially some that are a bit unfamiliar. Draw with a white pencil on black paper for example, or cut up some paper, stick it down and draw on that. It's too hard to 'think' of a great idea, best to start somewhere and let it lead to one.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Don't really have any hobbies. I like making and experimenting with new ways of making art. I went on a short film course and also a writing course as I feel going 'off piste' sometimes, moves your work in unexpected directions.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Making art make you happy.
