What are your hobbies?

I love cats and bunnies...and pretty much all pets! I used to have a bunny and a cat that I miss a lot. Now I have another cat and I wish I could have more, but most of all, I wish I could help more.

Other than my love for pets, I love music. My taste in music is quite unusual for someone my age, but I'm actually proud of it.

These two interests, along with food, are some of the things I could not live without!

What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?

I love many different techniques, from paper craft to upholstery, from crochet to clay. I'm always open to learn new ones, I actually NEED to learn new techniques all the time because I get bored quite easily.

My favorite material to work with is cardboard. After making many projects with it I realized that anything (or almost!) can be made with it.

I can't afford to get new tools and materials so upcycling has become a very important part of my projects and I actually find it even more satisfying: knowing that I have just given a second life to something and admiring the result are priceless!

I have two craft spaces:
I usually go to the basement when I have to work on something big like upholstery projects because I have more space and tools there.
I don't have a lot of space at home so my everyday craft space consists of a small table placed in the middle of my room. It's always full of stuff so I often end up working on the floor!

What do you craft along to?

Watching craft shows always inspires me a lot but, sadly, there are almost none on tv here now.
I keep the tv or music on anyways because I actually need to do more than one thing at once, but it's not necessary :D

What was the first project you ever made?

Unfortunately I can't remember exactly what the first thing I made was.
Teachers used to make us do some crafts during kindergarten and elementary school, mostly as holiday gifts for our parents, and I loved working on them! Those were my favorite hours of all the school week and I wished they never ended.

One of the crafts I made during those years was covering a mirror's frame with real mosaic. It was the most interesting thing I ever did and I had a lot of fun. I still have it and I'm still surprised to see how well it turned out!

What are your favorite items to make?

I love making home decor items, and my favorite ones are lamps.
I always "warn" people saying that making lamps can be addicting, but I actually joke about it. Making lamps gives so much satisfaction and I believe that everybody who loves crafting should try it.

Light gives a magical touch to lamps, and that touch always leaves me astonished. Turning the light on and looking at the final result with the light effects it creates gives me so much satisfaction that it's worth all the time and effort.

Which other craft blogs do you love to read?

I don't really follow any particular craft blog, even though I visit many different ones all the time. I like to look for inspiration on sites like Pinterest, so I always end up getting an overload of inspiration from great blogs from all over the world.
