How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
You know, I've never been good at being a "definite" person... So its hard to define myself and style. I dont have a specific style that I stick to. I am a lover of Variety. I can dress like a major fashionista one day, and a "skater girl", gym goer or a cowgirl then next... Or spend the week in pajamas and not give a hoot. haha It depends on my mood. :)
What I can tell you is that I love to look cute but also to be comfortable! I love shirts that show off my shoulders. Wearing heels is my favorite! And I adore Marilyn Monroe. ♥
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
My every day makeup staples include:
-A good concealer (for my dark under eye circles)! Brands will change here and there but my favorites include the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under eye and the LA Girl HD Pro Concealer.
-The Milani Cosmetics Multi-Tasker Powder
-Blush! Again - brands change anything peachy with a golden sheen is what I love best!
-Mascara, I am currently obsessed with the IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara!
-Black Eyeliner Pencil
-And lastly a lip balm and also a plumping gloss. ♥
What is your beauty routine like?
I dont really have a set beauty routine. It changes depending on how much time I have and what my plans are for the day. Most of the time I can get ready in 15-20 minutes. But if I am going full glam - I'll need at least an hour!! haha
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
Oh this is a tough one. Celebrities always look so amazing as it is. I mean, what more could *I* offer them!? haha But I would probably pick either Emma Stone or Jennifer Lawrence. I just LOVE their personalities. They both seem so fun, funny and down to earth! And I'd choose to give them a makeover just so we could have a chance to hang out and maybe create some goofy snapchat videos. lol
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
If you want to mix up your look or style but are nervous - try it out at home for a few days or a week. Get used to seeing yourself with your new look. When you feel comfortable and confident in yourself on your own, you will be brave to be confident in front of the world.
It might seem like weird advice, but it works. I used to be terrified of wearing lipstick - red lipstick specifically! But my husband suggested I would look good with it. So I bought some and tried it on, in the bathroom with the door locked. I was too scared to show my face to even my husband! haha But when I finally came out, he loved it. It still took some getting used to before I would wear it out of the house... But I would just wear it while at home until it became "normal" for me. Then I was a lot more confident to rock it outside in front of everyone else!
All that being said - I must add that regardless of what others think - remember that if you love the way you look, then that is all that matters! Be confident in YOU and YOUR style!! Rock it!!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Aside from being a beauty blogger and youtuber my hobbies include just about anything artsy and crafty! I LOVE to create with my hands. I used to make and sell Jewelry and hair accessories on etsy. I also enjoy drawing and painting, as well as some photography. And another passion of mine is singing. ♥
