What is DIY Album Art: Paper Bags and Office Supplies all about?
On a basic level, its about a period in the 1990's, when the North American punk and hardcore scene became re-energized by a new do-it-yourself and an aesthetic plurality that hadn't been seen in years. The new DIY went beyond booking your own shows or putting out your own records, it now entailed physically making the record packaging yourself out of whatever materials you had access to. DIY Album Art: Paper Bags and Office Supplies collects those record packages and presents them as beautiful and strange artifacts.

What made you decide to make a whole DIY Album Art book?
I bought the bulk of the records featured in the book from 1993-97, so I've been living with them a long time now. I was a teenager at the time and because I didn't have much of a reference they were simply
