i use a regular glue stick and spatula to spread it onto the clay once baked then cover in glitter and spray with hair spray to set

also to save using a lot of colored polymer clay (because the blocks are small) i buy a large pack of the flesh color and once baked cover it in a layer of the color and re-bake to set.
