Description

Styling Tips:
1. The contour of the silver zipper lines make a bold statement with black leggings and other high-contrast accessories.
2. Throw on a cute cardigan or biker jacket - the base look is versatile!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Gather your materials. Place cardboard inside shirt to prevent tacky-glue from leaking through the material.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Cut a 30" piece of black zipper tape. Cut another at 20" (for the back), followed by a 20" piece of white zipper tape.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Lay 30" piece of zipper tape diagonally across tank to determine placement.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Trim zipper tape corner to fit edge of garment, under arm and at sideseam/hem point.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Glue zipper tape into place.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

If it looks good, admire your work! Tacky glue gets pretty messy.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

Flip shirt over and line up the 20" contrasting pieces on the shoulder and center-back of tank as shown.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

Glue white strip into place, making sure it's perfectly centered.

  9. Step 9

    Step 9

Glue the black strip across the back shoulder, and let dry completely.

  10. Step 10

    Step 10

Once dry, try it on and make your friends jealous...

  11. Step 11

    Step 11

    ...even as you're walking away!

TIP: If you actually got glue splotches on your tank (we sure did!), you can use scraps to add to the design and conceal it, or hide it with a brooch!
