when I was in Graphic Design school I had to take a course in art history. While writing one paper I decided it would be cool to make it more interesting by folding it.
I picked a z fold, but a gate fold or a double L fold could be nice as well.

First open Indesign or any program that allows you to make/insert templates
make shure you have two different files, one for the front side and one for the back. -
copy and paste your assignment into the templates
-
turn on the printer and insert your paper
-
push print
print side one -
now take that printed sheet and turn it over
put the paper back into the printer and print side two -
now cut the paper and fold it
