I love cherry blossoms and have wanted to have some kinda of different way of displaying my earrings. I love this up-cycled idea I've come up with for an old zen garden I no longer use.

Get your zen garden box.. rocks in the sand would be pretty cool.. I was going to do this but decided not to in the end.

Curl your branch so the resin will have something to grab onto.

I used a candle stick holder to keep my branch where I wanted it.

Now.. when I did this I put the sand in first instead of the resin.
I'd put the resin in FIRST if I were to do this again.. I found the resin did not soak into the sand as I had imagined.. but it would work better MUCH better the other way round. -
If you don't fill it too high once the resin sets you can put another layer of sand on and it still functions as a Zen garden.
allow resin to set.. approx 24 hours before you start hanging things off of it.
