Nice & Simple
Description

Have an extra large Tshirt that you want to transform into yoga pants? What about that pretty picture? You don't REALLY want to cut up the middle of it, do you?

Instructions
  1. 1
    Step 1

First of all, you're going to want large Tshirt. I'm going to use this blue one to line a pair of pants I'm making out of a large white Tshirt.

  2. 2
    Step 2

    First, cut off the sleeves.

  3. 3
    Step 3

Then cut off the collar. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

  4. 4
    Step 4

You're going to want to cut up the SIDES, not the middle of the shirt. Fold in half [wrong sides out] and sew until you get to the sleeve. This will be your crotch.

  5. 5
    Step 5

Do this to both sides of the shirt. The logo should be wrapped around the side of your leg, not cut in half.
This is both my legs, one inside out. I know the blue shirt is a little short, but that's fine.

  6. 6
    Step 6

Pin up the crotch and sew.

  7. 7
    Step 7

Now you're going to want to make a waist band. I just used fabric from the blue long sleeved shirt.
    Sew on.

  8. 8
    Step 8

I made my waist band twice as tall in the back than in the front.

  9. 9
    Step 9

Now your pretty image isn't cut in two!

Omigosh this is fabulous. :)

I have so many shirts from shows I've done that suck to wear as shirts, but would rock as dance pants! This rocks my face. And BTW: people need to chill. Your tutorial is bangin and so are theirs and stuff. You're awesome. :D
Peace. :)

This tut is the same as how I posted my version of Tara's in August 2008. (Except the waist was drawstring.) I never got around to posting the tut here (tho I did elsewhere.) I don't see what everyone is getting worked up about. Yea it is nice to say "inspired by..." (I did.) But sometimes the inspiration comes from too many sources. It's not like you are claiming to be the original creator. Don't let people get you down!

You should see my wiener one. It is too funny! LOL
