I needed to clean out my yarn stash a while back, so I figured, why not use my yarn to hold my other yarn? :)

  • Step 1

    Finished Dimensions-
Mine stands about 9 inches tall and is 26 inches around. Of course, this is easily changeable by adding/subtracting the number of rounds/increases.

    Materials-
I used 2 skeins of Lion Brand "Jiffy" in Violet (substitute with any "bulky" sized yarn) with a size US15/10mm circular needle. Other notions you will need are scissors and a darning/tapestry needle.

    Abbreviations-
    STS - Stitches
    K - Knit
    P - Purl
KFB - Knit front and back

  • Step 2

    Ok, let's get started~
    Beginning:
Holding 2 strands of yarn together, cast-on 4 sts, and join in a round.
    Round 1: KFB around (8)
    Round 2-14: Knit around
    Round 3: KFB around (16)
    Round 5: KFB, K1 (24)
    Round 7: KFB, K2 (32)
    Round 9: KFB, K3 (40)
    Round 11: KFB, K4 (48)
    Round 13: KFB, K5 (56)
    Round 15: KFB, K6 (64)

  • Step 3

    Middle:
    Round 16-39: Knit around
    Round 40: Purl around

  • Step 4

    End:
    Round 41-45: 2x2 rib around
Round 46: Bind off in pattern.

    Fill with yarn! :)
