This was so easy and worked so well!

I didn't soak the string in glue; I wrapped the string around the balloon and then used a paint brush to dab it all over. The excess glue ran off the Vaseline and onto the newspaper underneath.

I only had gold spray paint but I feel it made it quite festive anyway. I added a big red ribbons for an extra Christmas-y feel. Thank you Sarah B!
