  • How to make an octopus plushie. Yarn Octopus - Step 1
    Step 1

    cut off 36 strands of yarn (choose any colour)each measuring 3 times as long as ball is round. you will use theseb strands to cover the ball.

  • Step 2

    lay the strands of yarn on your work place so the ends are even. with a piece of yarn ,tie the strands together at the middle.

  • Step 3

    To begin the head and legs,place the ball on top of the knot.Arrange the strands of yarn around the ball.

    use a piece of yarn to tie the strands in a bunch (click the picture to see how its done)

  • Step 5

    to make the legs ,divide the loose strands of yarn into 8 bunches .Braid each bunch ,you don't need to tie a knot at the beginninning or end of the braid.Tie the ends with a piece of a different colourd yarn.

  • Step 6

    ALRIGHTY YOUR ALL DONE JUST HAVE TO PUT GOOGLY EYE AND MAYBE TAKE A PERMANENT MARKER TO DRAW HIS SMILE

    (optional: sing UNDAAA THE SEA BY THE MOVIE little mermaid)

Im gonna try this! I don't have a rubber ball, but I think a ball of tin foil should work.
