Step 1: Draw a thick diagonal line starting from the base of your nail down to the tip.

Step 2: Draw another thick diagonal line from the opposite side, forming an "X".

Step 3: Go over the first purple line with a thin blue line.

Step 4: Repeat step 3, just the opposite way.

Step 5: Using a chevron pattern for inspiration, create connecting lines that form a triangle (see above).

Step 6: Continue creating the blue thin lines surrounding the main "X" shaped lines until all four are drawn.
