Two small woven bowls made from recycled road maps. Despite made out of folded paper strips, the bowls are surprisingly sturdy.
The technique used is an old traditional Scandinavian basket making techinque.

Where can I find instructions for this? I really like the way the bowls look!

Thank you for your interest in my map bowls. The only instructions that I have ever come across were in a Danish book that has been out of print for years. I learned making these bowls when I went to school in Denmark 30 years ago. I'll do a search and see if I can find a link with the technique. If not then I'll try to make some basic instructions in the near furture :-)
