these pics are from my first altered book, which i made as gift for my husband last christmas. i found a book on dollhouses at goodwill, and it had a lot of great photos--but that ended up being both a blessing and a curse because i felt guilty about covering them up! it started to feel a little constraining.
it's still not quite finished, but maybe now that almost a year has passed i can revisit it with fresh ideas.

That is gorgeaus! The author of the book, Flora Gill Jacobs, had a museum down here in D.C. until May 2006. I went there a lot as a child, and it was one of my favorite places on earth...so still and quiet, a little microcosm filled with tiny people, furniture, and animals. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future :)
