Simple pin made with a knitting dolly and some buttons and bits
A lovely wee heart badge I've been whipping up for christmas based on a craft I saw on here but using a different technique. Dead simple and really sweet (and saves a few pennies too!)

    Step 1

    Use a french knitting dolly to make a long cord from the fine red wool. Didn't take an exact measurement but I think about 20 inches. When you think you've got enough, go a little longer I say :)

    Step 2

    Cut out a heart shape on some red material to be your backing and then stitch your cord onto it. Keeping it messy and swirly leaves a lovely texture when finished.

    Step 3

    Sew buttons and beads on where ever you like and stitch a safety pin onto the back as a clasp, and you're done! :)
