I read today about a really beautiful initiative that the Tel Aviv city hall is starting this year. Every baby who's going to be born in Tel Aviv is going to receive a poetry book. I don't know why, but I found that very moving, as if a little bit of art can give anybody a good beginning to life.
In honor of this blessed idea I've made my first reader kit. It's a small folding fabric folder (try saying that 3 times quick...) containing a matching set of 3 woodland bookmarks, a reader card to document the books you are reading in, a small hand bound notebook with lined paper to write notes and ideas and favorite quotes and a pencil.

What a sweet concept to honor a Blessed event, and what a lovely version you have made! :-)
