Plaid flannel sheets & suede pants = kilt
My son's girlfriend asked me to make her a "kilt". So I bought a plaid flannel flat sheet, from a local thrift store and grabbed the leg of a pair of bell bottoms and this was the creation. I wish I could post a tutorial but I after watching videos and reading quite a bit, I kinda of winged it. I can tell you box pleats can be tough, so study a bit before you try it. I really love this look and the old suede bell bottom pants front piece competed the look perfectly.

Thank you!!!!!!!! If you look at any of my other items they are ALL made with recycled items. I am disabled so buying anything new is rare. Plus I love watching as I take something unloved and make it into something that will be loved once again for a long time. Happy
