Lots of us need extra storage and the great thing about these is that they are decoration and storage. I think they should be sitting on a shelf in Hogwarts!
The ribbons, which came with the bottles, and the tint on the glass match my room. However the smallest bottle is plain glass so I could decorate it with glass paint. I could paint the other bottles as well though. I could change the ribbons, I could stick things on them and if I wanted to use something else as storage I could put coloured sand etc in them.
You can use anything big enough for this, you don't have to limit it to just bottles. Even though it's a bit of a pain to get the beads back out again, these can fit anywhere really so you don't need to keep putting stuff away.
This may seem like a bit of a pointless project because I didn't make any of it but craft is all about reusing, recycling and thinking outside the box, literally this time!

I LOVE this, and cannot understand why I never thought of this for my buttons and whatnots. I have them in various glass jars. But I have quite a few empty vintage decanters packed away! They are not as lovely and potion-y style bottles as these, but lovely as well. Thanks for posting these and the thump on the head. I will dig them out of the cartons! :-)
