I just twisted the wire this and that way to form 'maja' :) 24 gauge wire is pretty thin so bending it with your hands is easy, but not thin enough to lose its shape easily.

& yeah, this is my first attempt at making earrings/working with wires. i'll practice more... bec. wire is so cheap :D
