I don't remember where I saw the ring that inspired these but they are pretty easy to make.
I wound some wire around my finger a few times to get the size. Then I gathered the 3 or 4 coils by wrapping more wire around the loop to create one thick ring.
And using still more wire, I strung the beads on and wrapped them to the base.

There is a lady who has a website of jewelry she made like this (http://spacemermaid.com/collection5.html)...I always loved them, and here you are making them for cheap! Way to go, and thanks for the tips. :)
