I've always wanted to try one of these wire wrapped tree's but didn't have any reason to. My family started a weekly art competition and the first weeks inspiration/theme was the tree of life by Gustav Klimt. So, here is my first ever post on a site like this and finished version of the tree. I like how it turned out alright. Can't wait to do another one. I made my own ring out of a thicker gauge wire. I used all materials that i had sitting around my "creation station". I don't follow directions well so i looked at the how to (which was excellent) and went from there adding my own spin. I made mistakes, dropped some of my wires and didn't realize until i had finished. oh well, it's done and i'm happy.
