Simple, modern earrings made from Popsicle sticks.

    Materials.

    Carefully cut your popsicle sticks in half length-ways. Popsicle sticks then to splinter, so cut slowly.

    Now, cut your sticks into approximately 1 3/4 inch posts. Sand any rough patches and splinters.
    Paint on one or two coats of your colour of choice. Let dry.

    Trim down the sides of your ear studs to about the width of your posts.

    Glue the studs near one end of each of your posts. Dab a little more glue beneath the ear stud on the long end of the post.

    Cut approximately six inches of wire. Press one end of the wire into the glue and wrap around the post. Let dry over night.
