I was looking through the internet and saw this cosplayer having plastic wing barrettes and was completly enamored with it. but I'm dirt poor. So I made a variation. I

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Ok, first outline the shape of the wing at the bottom of the felt sheet. Then fold the sheet in half ( as seen in pix) and cut around the wing. Then you'll have one felt with the wing and the other a blank outline.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Then you cut out a square, not to big or too small, it has to fit the back of the blank outline.Then take the hairband and the blank outline and the square. Put the harband on the blank outline and the sqaure together, but have the hairband in the middle of the two. Sew the together.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    You can take the felt with the wing drawn on and the blank felt and sew them together. But you have to leave the top wing (blue pointed arrow) open to stuff the cotton balls. when your done stuffing close it up and there you have a cute accessorie! <3
