Crazy Zebra Chair
I made this chair for my studio. It's wild and it's my style. You can create one just like it or customize it to fit your personality.

  • Step 1

Find an old wooden chair at a thrift store or even on the curbside if you’re lucky.

  • Step 2

Remove cushion from chair. You will most likely need a screwdriver. Mine came off pretty easy as it was falling off. I had to use a drill to reattach the cushion later.

  • Step 3

    Lightly sand your chair.

  • Step 4

Prime your chair with primer, allow to dry and apply your desired acrylic base color.

  • Step 5

Use a darker color and a thinner brush for your zebra stripes or desired details.

  • Step 6

Using fabric of your choice cover the old seat cushion. Use a staple gun to secure fabric.

  • Step 7

Connect cushion back to chair (if chair is dry).
You may need a drill for this step.
