Never forget what your first inital is
so I have always wanted a sweater like the one Molly Weasley gives to her children on christmas in the Harry Potter books. Sadly my knitting skills are not nearly up to par with hers. so my roommate and I decied to experiment and this is what we came up with.

  • Step 1

    Find a sweater.
we got ours at a thrift store.
the more crazy the sweater better since Molly loves her crazy knits.

  • Step 2

get half a yard of fabric.
it can be any kind really as long as there is no stretch.
it is also looks better if the fabric is a little thick
we used felt, since it was cheap and colourfull

  • Step 3

Cut your fabric so that it is about the same size as the front of your sweater so you know exactly the amount of space you are working with.

  • Step 4

draw your letter out ont to your pieces of fabric
you can do this anyway you want.

we drew out our letters out free hand in marker directly on to our fabric

  • Step 5

    cut out your letter

  • Step 6

using whip stich sew your letter to the front of your sweater.

  • Step 7

    Hurrah! you are done!
this sweater is sure to keep you warm at the next Qudditch match.
