Separate a section of your hair.

Angle your hair straightener to where the hair in it is pointed upwards and out. Like shown in the image. Hold for 5-10 seconds

Then slowly bring the hair straightener down and point it inwards. Hold for 5-10 seconds. Basically, create a rocking back and forth motion to create the waves.

Continue to do steps one through three to all sections of your hair. When finished waving it, take the hair wax, your choice of brand, and dab a bit in your palms. Scrunch up your hair with the hair wax to give it a more messy, wavy look.
