We first tried shave ice when we were in Hawaii and it was the perfect treat for cooling down in the the heat. This grown-up version is drizzled with homemade syrup infused with Twisted Melon vodka from ODDKA.
We first tried shave ice when we were in Hawaii and it was the perfect treat for cooling down in the the heat. This grown-up version is drizzled with homemade syrup infused with Twisted Melon vodka from ODDKA.
Bring the water and sugar to the boil, stirring until all the sugar has dissolved.
Take off the heat and add the vodka.
You can stir in a couple of drops of food colouring if you want to colour the shave ice.
Place a big chunk of ice in a blender.
Blitz until the ice is a fine snow-like powder.
Pour the ice into a cocktail glass.
Drizzle over a little of the watermelon syrup and serve.
