Waterless Snow Globe

  • Completed Project: Waterless Snow Globe Picture #1
  • Completed Project: Waterless Snow Globe Picture #2

A safe alternative to the glass and water, snow globes
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

These are a cute way to display your little trinkets and also great if you have kids or pets who might knock over and break your glass globes :/ If you don't have glitter glue or don't want so much glitter on your globe, you can use a toothpick, dip down in the crafts glue and dab it into the glitter. The second pic is the items you need. I couldn't find my glitter glue so I used a small vail from a Lisa Frank kit I had.

  1. Step 1

Carefully take apart your capsule. (They're alot easier these days to do so )*Optional* Paint the lid with nail polish. Let dry.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Place the lip top side up and take your trinket, whether its a bead,a really small toy or even the toy that came in the gumball and glue to the base

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Using glitter glue or glitter and glue, make little dots on the inside of the bubble part.( it's sorta hard to see the glitter. But you can see the dots)

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

When the lid/top and the bubble are all dried, add glue to the end of the bubble and adhere it to the lid. Also let dry. And voila, safe to drop and safe from leaking ^^
