After years without real practice (only some doodling during meetings) I made these in one day. I am so happy with them!

I got two picture frames from my 'mother in law' made of coarse wood and I thought that some birds would look nice in them.

I found reference images on the internet and first made sketches to get a feel for the proportions. Then I sketched on the water media paper and started coloring it in with the crayons. After that I used two brushes to mix the colors into paint.

I'm especially proud of the eyes.
