Beautiful 3D Butterfly Card
The Big Shot is such a great tool for any papercrafter. It allows one to make things like these amazing butterflies with Butterflies Thinlits and Bold Butterfly Framelits. Thinlits and Framelits are really the same thing - one frames an image to cut and the other cuts out more intricate things.

I love to make cards that look like I fuss but are easy.

  • Step 1

    Fold the Elegant Eggplant 4 ¼’ x 11” Cardstock in half to create card base and adhere your patterned paper 3” x 5 ½” to the center of the card front.

  • Step 2

    Punch out and adhere to the center ¾” from the top a 2” Circle of Tip Top Taupe cardstock. Stamp your sentiment below the circle onto the patterned paper in Elegant Eggplant

  • Step 3

    Place a dimensional in the center of the circle and wrap some Gold Thread back and forth on the dimensionals.

  • Step 4

    Stamp the large Butterfly from the Watercolor Wings in Tip Top Taupe with Elegant Eggplant and cut out with the coordinating Bold Butterfly framelit and adhere to the center of the circle with a dimensional.

  • Step 5

    Cut out the Large Butterfly in Elegant Eggplant with the Big Shot & the Butterflies Thinlits and layer on top of the butterfly.

  • Step 6

    Cut out small butterfly in Wisteria Wonder Cardstock with the Bold Butterfly Framelits and adhere to the Elegant Eggplant Butterfly. Add a row of pearls on the body of the Wisteria Wonder Butterfly
