Wall Mounted Poseable Gas Mask Lamp

i got a kids gas mask off ebay £6.99 and a poseable lamp from a DIY store for £4.99. cut out the filter and thread the lamp thru the hose, put some tracing paper under the eye holes so you cant see inside it, mount it all on a bit of wood and mount to a wall. it sounds easy but its quite awkward.

done, thanks for looking

Project Cost
Reasonably Priced

  1. 1

first on the gas mask i unscrewed the filter on the end of the hose, then using a hand held rotary tool cut it open removing all the charcoal and fluff thats in it. inside the mask you have to cut out a metal plate that is in front of the hose.

  2. 2

i also took the glass eye holes out and covered them with tracing paper and put them back in so you cant see the inside, i also thought about putting some LED lights inside so it would glow but i might do that another time.

  3. 3

i took apart a cheap lamp just unscrewing it and unthreading all the wires.

  4. 4

i cut a shield shape out of a bit of wood i had laying about (i think it was a bit of old skirting bored) to mount the lamp to.

  5. 5

then thread all the wires though and screw onto the mount and attach to a wall.
