    Step 1

    Score some vintage sewing patterns with great envelope cover art on eBay, etsy, or the old-fashioned way in a junk shop or antique store.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Spraypaint cheap 5"x7" frames the color of your choice.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Pop in those lovely ladies (you may need to trim the pattern envelope to size) and hang.

Holy crap! I just went to my friends house today and her familie's friend had just died, and given my friend all of her old stuff, and she has those exact patters and vintage stuff from simplicity. Its the first time I saw them, and then I get on here, AND THERE THEY ARE!!! lol

But it is a great Idea, I was thinking of making them into a poster or something.

Adorable! What a great way to decorate a sewing or craft room. I usually use the tissue to wrap glassware that I sell, now I have a use for the envelopes too.
