You can get metallic paint at Michael's,probably Hobby Lobby or any craft store.
These are a set I made for Mary as part of our music swap.

I took vintage pictures I found and paired them with inspriational music quotes which I felt suited the pictures.
(I happen to be a huge fan of Aldous Huxley; so one of his own quotes found its place in this atc set)

I painted around the edges of the text and borders of the cards with the metallic paint. I used a gold and a yellow gold.
Voila!
