  • Step 1

    Heat the syrup over medium heat for a few minutes and then add the sugar. When it starts to look like it's boiling, add the butter. Earth Balance is a good butter alternative. Then add the vanilla.

  • Step 2

    Measure out six cups of rice krispie cereal into a large bowl.

  • Step 3

    Pour mixture over the cereal and stir until it is evenly coated. (Don't forget to sample some at this point. It is sinful how amazing it tastes.)

  • Step 4

    Pour mixture into a greased glass cake pan and place in the refrigerator for about an hour until cool. Enjoy!!
