   First you need to make the tubes to braid around the edges of the t shirt. I cut strips of fabric and then sewed up the sides and then flipped the tubes inside out.

   Then I braided the tubes together. You can make tight braids or looser ones, I went with a little loose.

   Then, you can cut the neck of the shirt to make it a little lower and then pin the braid around and hand stitch into place! Repeat around the sleeves.
