I used to use concealer as a primer but I have naturally oily skin and it just wears off, along with the shadow, after a few hours.

It doesn't do the same job as a primer..that's why it's called concealer

I do that too, it works great. Either that or if I put white eye shadow on first it brightens it up a bit!!
