It always seems a shame to throw these things out, so I didn't, I prettified em instead:]

Step one, get all your stuff together. Tin, decorative paper, ribbon, pretties and tools.

Measure the height and diameter of your container and cut out your paper. Stick it on, I used glue because it's easier to position the paper.
I like to leave the metal rim at the bottom showing:] -
Cut two lengths of ribbon and stick at the top and bottom, this covers the edges of the paper and finishes it off nicely.
I line up the joins with the join in the paper. I've used thin double sided tape with a glue dot at the ends, but use whatever floats your boat:] -
Best bit - stick on the pretties!
You could leave it with just the paper and ribbon but why would ya?
