Over Christmas I have been thinking about different ways of wrapping presents. Colorful shop bought papers just does not seem to make a justice to the amount of thought (and/or making) that goes into giving a present. Anyway, below are a couple of ideas on making upcycled gift pouches. Full tutorial is on my website.

Instructions

  1. Small sam 2762

I've used an empty flour sack for the pouches. At first I vacuumed the left over bits of flour and cut out larger squares.

  2. I found that the pouches are a lot more durable if they are two layers. Especially if you are using Kam fasteners that can be quite stiff and there is always a danger that the pouch will be ripped when opening.

  3. Small sam 2756

I folded that square envelope style and secured with the Kam fastener. At the end I've stamped on some designs.
