Keep those cold draughts away by upcycling a jumper into. snake draught excluder
I used to live In a draughty old flat and used to dread winter coming. So I decided to make this snake out of an old jumper, the stuffing from an old pillow and 4 scraps of material.
The end result, no more draughts!!

  • Step 1

    Take your old jumper ( I used my daughter's old school jumper)
    Cut off the sleeves

  • Step 2

    Turn right sides together and sew, this can be done by hand or machine.
    sew one end closed

  • Step 3

    Stuff
    you can used scraps of material old wool anything.

  • Step 4

    Cut out 2 circles and 2 triangles

  • Step 5

    Sew the circles on as eyes
    Take the 2 triangles and pin them in the middle of the opening in a forked tounge shape and sew closed
