We found a chest of drawers from the 80's by the side of the road--white with blue, huge plastic handles, and probably never been washed. We carted it home (Shlomi wasn't happy), and I cleaned it. We took off the plastic handles, I primed (with something special since it has a plastic coating on the outside), painted, and sealed it, and Shlomi helped put the new metal handles on. We don't even recognize it, and now he is so proud of me! :-P Also, I don't remember how long it took. I worked on it for weeks, but only on weekends, and only a little at a time. :)
