  1. Step 1

First you take a plain common every day jacket, colour of your choice. wash it.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

REMEMBER!!!!! when ever you print a stencil print it backwards so it comes out forwards!!!!

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

while the jackets drying print out your stencil. you'll notice mine is flipped cause i trace everything onto contact paper then cut it out with a scalpel. TIP: tape contact to table then lay carbon copy paper over the top then what ever your picture you want and trace it.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

contact only allows so many goes at getting it centered so lay it out first then peel the paper off the back and put it down. make sure you have cardboard or paper in the jacket to make sure the paint dont bleed through to the other side

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

use a stencil sponge to dab the paint on. with the black jacket i picked white and red. for a pale jacket i'd go black and red. when it's dry peel the contact off and tar dum!

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

for the front i painted my hand after it dried i just put the word template over it

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

now i just made it pretty put heart sequins above the "I"s.

I make these for people who ask in Australia each one is custom i just did one for a friend but she had "The Lamb" and a picture of a lamb with it.

  8. Step 8

when they're all dry and done. my fabric paint calls for heat sealing so thats what i do. but follow the instructions on your paints instructions.

It looks awesome! A how-to would be wonderful. Christmas is coming and many teens on people's Christmas list are Twilight lovers and this would make a fabulous gift.
