Description

We love wearing turbans and we wanted to make one version to go with some more casual winter outfits! If you have an old, forgoten beanie, this is the project for you!

Instructions

  1. Small 107247 2f2015 02 04 192733 1

Pinch the front middle part of the beanie and sew it together with a needle.

Measure the sewn part and add 2 cm to this measure! This will be the length of your fabric piece. The withd should be about 6 cm. Fold your fabric lengthwise so that the wrong side is facing you and machine or hand sew the ends together by straight stitch. Finish by stitching the seam allowance with a zig-zag stitch if using machine.

Turn the fabric inside out, fold the ends inside and turn the fabric so that the stitch is in the middle.

  4. Small 107247 2f2015 02 04 192755 4

Turn the fabric piece so that the stitch is facing you and then sew the lower end by hand onto the front part of your beanie. When you are done turn the fabric piece downwards.

Turn your beanie to the wrong side and sew the second end of your fabric piece to it.
