i made mine from felt, didn't want to go buy a can of starch for it. turned out to be really hard. had to hand sew it a lot to make it look like this. after it all came out pretty good!!! sewed a clip in the back and VOLA!!

Yeah felt would be good..that's rad! Love your colours!

The starch isn't standard.. or interfacing.. I just find they stand up to alot and I mean alot of more abuse than one that don't have it.. and if you throw it in the wash by accident.. it'll be ok.
