Cat, I think Pedro was joking.
Your recipe it's ok but your pics show rather a mix of ingredients, not really a tortilla. I suppose if you were in Spain you know what a tortilla looks, more compact. But I know that it's difficult!!! And your tortilla looks very yummy, so don't worry!!
this is also called a 'fritata' and it's delicious! i make mine with green pepper, onion, cheese, bacon (rashers) and it's a quick fix for a busy evening meal.
Regarding the Tortilla just a few thing to learn.
First of all, you have to fry the potatoes, with more oil, ( fries style) .
When they are fried, you tae them out of the oil ( and fry pan).
In a different bowl, you beat the eggs together, and when finish, mix the potatoes anf the eggs.
Live to soak for a bit, and then you pour it in the pan and leave to cook that side. When you think it´s cook, turn the other side down and cook the other side. ( at the end looks more like a cake).
From Spain with love!!!!
